FOR WHOM is MEDSCI intended?

MEDSCI is open to all those who think innovatively and are toying with the idea of realizing innovations and would like to take up an entrepreneurial activity or start a company in the field of life sciences. Embedded in the inspiring innovation environment of the MEDSCI, these Pioneering Minds can develop and sharpen their ideas with the support of the MEDSCI and then, together with the MEDSCI team, go through an innovation path individually tailored to the start-up project as well as to the start-up personalities.

Thus, MEDSCI is happy to welcome:

  • students from different universities
  • employees of different universities and research institutions or of companies that are active in the field of health
  • other entrepreneurs who would like to work on innovations together with scientists of the Med Uni Graz

WHAT KIND of support do I get from MEDSCI?

At MEDSCI, an experienced, interdisciplinary team in the field of innovation will support you to examine and identify the entrepreneurial  potential of your empirical research and / or business idea. Embedded in a project-specific innovation process developed and led by the MEDSCI team, you will get the chance to explore your innovation project, develop it further so that it turns into a market-ready product or a valuable social service and get into close contact with already successful entrepreneurs.

WHERE can I find MEDSCI and where can I work with the MEDSCI Team?

At the new campus of the Med Uni Graz you can find the MEDSCI space, where you can get into a first contact with the MEDSCI team while drinking a coffee in our Welcome Space. Next to the warm and social Welcome Space, there is the Pioneer Islands Space, in which you can work on your projects. The Pioneer Islands space provides the necessary technical as well as physical infrastructure for collectively developing your project ideas for the next innovation processes.
